The Home Depot Canada Foundation has officially launched its Spring Orange Door Project campaign at the Barrie Home Depot location, running until June 14 to raise critical funds to help prevent youth homelessness. As part of this initiative, a $300,000 cheque was recently presented to Community Builders at the local store. The campaign also supports fellow community partner Youth Haven, with 100 per cent of local donations directly benefiting youth-focused initiatives in the area. Members of the community can support the campaign by donating at checkout, online at OrangeDoorProject.ca, or by purchasing a TradeWorx baseball cap to fund vital skills training.
