A True Community Effort

We are supported by remarkable partners who offer assistance in many forms, helping us to build with purpose.

HONOURING OUR PARTNERS

The work of our organization is truly a community effort. We are supported by remarkable partners who offer assistance in many forms, helping us to build with purpose.

FUNDING PARTNERS

Community Builders is grateful to these agencies and organizations that make our work possible!

This year, The Home Depot Canada Foundation grew its support for Community Builders through the Orange Door Project / Tradeworx as we expanded to four locations. Their initiative is commited to breaking down barriers that youth face to achieve healthy pathways out of homelessness. THDCF supports our Skilled Trades Training programs to secure a living wage and attain permanent housing for youth in new regions of Ontario.

We honour Meridian Credit Union for its renewed commitment to our Skilled Trades Training program through its Reframe initiative. This core funding has been instrumental to our growth and community impact. By integrating financial confidence coaching and strategic partnerships with Community Builders’ skills training. Meridian helps drive systemic change—strengthening communities, creating meaningful employment, and supporting a more resilient Ontario. The training program’s success is supported by strong municipal and government partnerships and robust wraparound services.

COMMUNITY & EMPLOYMENT PARTNERS

Our organization is fortunate to have a wide circle of community partners – social enterprises, charities, church organizations, companies, suppliers, employers, labour centres and more – who generously support our programs, staff, and trainees. Their support comes in many forms, and this collective effort from the entire community strengthens our operations and outcomes.

Thank you to each partner for their kindness in supporting our programs in many unique ways.

REFERRING AGENCIES

These agencies see potential in their clients who may be disadvantaged by gender, lack of education, language barriers, criminal records, or racial discrimination. Thanks to recommendations from these agencies, we train a very diverse group of deserving individuals, launching promising futures and improving representation of these groups in the skilled trades.

DEVELOPMENT CLIENTS

These clients understand the community benefit of hiring our social enterprise construction company to build, renovate or maintain their social and affordable housing projects. We are either employed directly by these housing organizations or work as subcontractors for larger construction firms
